Intern Architect Seeks Employment in Seattle, WA

  Good Afternoon,

Hopefully you have come across this website because you are searching for an intern architect to work in your office. I believe that I may be the perfect candidate for you. I am a recent architecture graduate from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and am hoping to start my career in an office where there is a strong focus on sustainable and high quality design.

My architectural thesis project involved the research and application of sustainable principles on both an urban and individual building scale. I am a LEED Accredited Professional, and have a strong knowledge of the issues involved with sustainable design and am interested in being able to apply these principles to real world projects. I will be moving to Seattle, WA on August 1, 2005 and am hoping to begin employment in an architectural office beginning August, 8 2005.

You will find that I work well in teams, am detail-oriented, and am a quick learner. In addition, I am extremely self-motivated and always open to new ideas. I believe these personality characteristics in conjunction with my strong architectural skills will be a great asset to your firm. I am eager to work on a variety of tasks and can easily learn new skills to fulfill whatever responsibilities I am given.

In order to obtain a better understanding of the talents I possess, I invite you to take a few moments to browse through my online portfolio and read my résumé.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Nick Ladd, LEED AP
