Claude Monet House and Gardens, Giverny, France

The Monet House:
Monet lived in this house from 1883 until 1926 and some of his most famous paintings depict the surrounding gardens on the estate. Probably the most famous of these paintings are his 'Water Lily' series. We toured the house which included original furniture and many of the same oriental prints that hung on the walls during his time here. The surrounding gardens were absolutely beautiful with tons of different species, most of which were in full bloom.
